    Why now

Awaab's Law has been in force since October 2025.

Social landlords are legally required to act on hazards in properties within strict timescales. Every person who takes a resident's call, inspects a home or is involved in the response needs to know their part.

    FAQs

    Common questions.

It's a UKAME certification, not an awarding-body qualification. Everyone who completes the course receives a Certificate of Attendance. Delegates who take and pass the optional Certificate of Achievement upgrade (£39 + VAT) receive a Certificate of Achievement. Both are issued within 5 to 10 working days.

Awaab's Law came into force in October 2025. Every social landlord, council, housing association and ALMO is now legally required to investigate hazards within strict timescales and act competently. This course fills the gap left by generic training: our courses are built specifically around the new compliance regime for specific audiences by a professional who works in Housing every day.

Yes. The Awareness, Practitioner, Contractors and Private Rented Sector courses can all be delivered as private in-person or private-online cohorts for your organisation. Leadership is only delivered as a private cohort. Everyone who completes the course gets a UKAME Certificate of Attendance, included in the seat price. There's an optional Certificate of Achievement upgrade at £39 + VAT per person. Pay the upgrade, sit the test, and on a pass you receive a Certificate of Achievement. If they don't take the upgrade or don't pass, the Certificate of Attendance still applies. Many organisations choose to put their staff through the upgrade as proof of competence.

Anyone who pays for the Certificate of Achievement upgrade gets one free retest with revision materials and a drop-in revision session. If they still don't pass, they receive their Certificate of Attendance. The £39 + VAT covers the admin of marking, retesting and issuing the achievement certificate.

Yes, the courses are delivered live on Zoom and delegates can join from anywhere with a stable internet connection. Cameras must be on and delegates must be engaged for the full session to be eligible for the Certificate of Achievement upgrade.

For larger cohorts (8+ delegates) we offer a private cohort at a fixed day rate, usually better value than buying individual seats. Just register interest with your numbers and we'll send a quote.
