What's the difference between Individual and Corporate membership?

Individual membership (£300+VAT/year) is for sole practitioners and consultants: your name appears on your membership card, badge, and directory listing. Corporate membership (£499+VAT/year) adds the team extras: your 25% training discount covers every team member and new recruit, your company name appears on the card and badge, and your directory listing carries a website link and a small company profile.

How do the training discounts work?

Members who have previously completed a UKAME course also benefit from 50% off the refresher course, which is due every 2 years.

Payment is processed securely via Stripe. After signing up, you'll be redirected to a secure checkout page where you can pay by credit or debit card. All members get access to the UKAME Standards Advisor, an AI-powered tool that provides guidance on mould remediation best practices, Awaab's Law, the UK Building Safety Act, and industry standards. It helps support your on-site decisions with relevant regulatory and best practice references. You get 100 messages per month included, or upgrade to Pro Advisor for 500 messages/month at £10/month.

What digital credentials do I get?

You get a professional digital membership card with a QR code that anyone can scan to verify your active membership status. You also get downloadable UKAME membership badges for your website, social media graphics, and embed code. Corporate members show their company name; individual members show their personal name.

What are the logo usage requirements?

Accepted Answer

Active members can use the UKAME logo and their personalised membership badge on their website, vehicles, uniforms, reports, business cards, and marketing materials. Only active paid members may use the UKAME logos. Completing training alone does not grant logo usage rights. Your website must include a backlink to mouldexperts.org.uk.

All trained professionals (members and non-members) appear in our public directory. Members get a "Member" badge next to their name. Corporate members additionally get a website link on their company listing and enhanced placement.

What happens at renewal time?

Your membership renews annually. We'll contact you 30 days before your renewal date. Your training credentials are valid for 2 years. Members benefit from 50% off the refresher course when it's due.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, you can cancel at any time from your member dashboard billing page or by contacting us at info@mouldexperts.org.uk. Upon cancellation, your logo usage rights, Member badge, and website link will be removed from the directory. Your training listing in the directory remains.
